- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. Each county treasurer shall furnish the state board on or before May 1 following the receipt of the assessment rolls a statement of the assessed valuation of each school district and fraction of a school district within the county upon forms furnished by the state board.
