Terms Used In Michigan Laws 400.796
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Home visitation: means a voluntary service delivery strategy that is carried out in relevant settings, primarily in the homes of families with children ages 0 to 5 years and pregnant women. See Michigan Laws 400.791
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
Each state agency that authorizes funds through payments, contracts, or grants that are used for home visitation shall include language regarding home visitation in its contract or funding agreement that is consistent with the provisions of this act.
