Terms Used In Michigan Laws 691.1346
- Collaborative law communication: means a statement, whether oral or in a record, or verbal or nonverbal, to which both of the following apply:
(i) The statement is made to conduct, participate in, continue, or reconvene a collaborative law process. See Michigan Laws 691.1332Record: means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in perceivable form. See Michigan Laws 691.1332 state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
A collaborative law communication is confidential to the extent agreed by the parties in a signed record or as provided by law of this state other than this act.
