Missouri Laws 302.233 – Fraud in obtaining a license or permit, penalty
1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any person who commits or assists another individual in committing fraud or deception during any examination process required by sections 302.010 to 302.782, or who knowingly conceals a material fact or provides information which contains or is substantiated with false or fraudulent information or documentation, or otherwise commits a fraud in an application for an instruction permit, driver’s license, nondriver’s license, or commercial driver’s license or permit is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.
2. An applicant who pleads guilty or nolo contendere to or is found guilty of a violation of this section shall not be licensed to operate a motor vehicle or commercial motor vehicle for a period of one year after such plea, finding, or conviction.

Terms Used In Missouri Laws 302.233
- Commercial motor vehicle: a motor vehicle designed or regularly used for carrying freight and merchandise, or more than fifteen passengers. See Missouri Laws 302.010
- Conviction: any final conviction. See Missouri Laws 302.010
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- License: a license issued by a state to a person which authorizes a person to operate a motor vehicle. See Missouri Laws 302.010
- Motor vehicle: any self-propelled vehicle not operated exclusively upon tracks except motorized bicycles, as defined in section 307. See Missouri Laws 302.010
- Nolo contendere: No contest-has the same effect as a plea of guilty, as far as the criminal sentence is concerned, but may not be considered as an admission of guilt for any other purpose.
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
- Plea: In a criminal case, the defendant's statement pleading "guilty" or "not guilty" in answer to the charges, a declaration made in open court.
- Vehicle: any mechanical device on wheels, designed primarily for use, or used on highways, except motorized bicycles, electric bicycles, vehicles propelled or drawn by horses or human power, or vehicles used exclusively on fixed rails or tracks, or cotton trailers or motorized wheelchairs operated by handicapped persons. 3. Any person assisting an applicant who pleads guilty or nolo contendere to or is found guilty of a violation of this section shall have his or her existing motor vehicle or commercial motor vehicle license revoked and lose all driving privileges for a period of one year after such plea, finding, or conviction.
