Terms Used In Missouri Laws 442.120

  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.

Any person, either natural or corporate, residing or authorized to do business in the state of Missouri, the investment powers of whom or which are governed by statute, is hereby empowered and authorized to make any loan guaranteed as provided by the Servicemen’s Readjustment Act of 1944, or for which there is a commitment to so guarantee, or for which a conditional guarantee has been issued, notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary relating to powers or authority of such person.
