When used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 598A.020

  • Commodity: means any goods, merchandise, wares, produce, chose in action, patents, trademarks, articles of commerce, or other tangible or intangible property, real, personal, or mixed, for use, consumption, enjoyment or resale. See Nevada Revised Statutes 598A.020
  • Intangible property: Property that has no intrinsic value, but is merely the evidence of value such as stock certificates, bonds, and promissory notes.
  • Service: means any activity performed or benefit conferred for the purpose of economic gain. See Nevada Revised Statutes 598A.020

1.  ’Commodity’ means any goods, merchandise, wares, produce, chose in action, patents, trademarks, articles of commerce, or other tangible or intangible property, real, personal, or mixed, for use, consumption, enjoyment or resale.

2.  ’Service’ means any activity performed or benefit conferred for the purpose of economic gain.

3.  ’Trade or commerce’ includes all economic activity involving or relating to any commodity or service.
