Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 426:1

  • farm: means any land, buildings, or structures on or in which agriculture and farming operations or activities are carried out or conducted and shall include the residence or residences of owners, occupants, or employees located on such land. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:34-a
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The commissioner of agriculture, markets, and food, whenever, in the commissioner’s opinion, the public good so requires, may adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, establishing official grades and standards for farm products which are produced within the state for purposes of sale.
