Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 457:22
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
All persons proposing to be joined in marriage within the state shall complete a marriage license application with all facts required by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 5-C:41 to be entered in any town clerk’s office. The clerk shall record the application in a book to be kept for that purpose.
