Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 5:12-117.1
- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 5. a. No applicant or person or organization licensed by or registered with the commission or division shall employ or offer to employ any person who is prohibited from accepting employment from a licensee or applicant or any holding or intermediary company under section 4 of P.L.1981, c.142 (C. 52:13D-17.2).
b. An applicant or person or organization who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a crime of the fourth degree.
