  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 11. a. Any person violating any provision of this act or regulation promulgated thereunder shall, in addition to any other sanction provided herein, be liable to a civil penalty of not less than $250.00 and not more than $25,000.00 for the first offense and not less than $500.00 and not more than $50,000.00 for the second and each subsequent offense. For the purpose of construing this section, each transaction or statutory violation shall constitute a separate offense, except that a second or subsequent offense shall not be deemed to exist unless an administrative or court order has been entered in a prior, separate and independent proceeding.

b. An extreme wrestler or promoter of an extreme wrestling event who fails to apply for the required approvals, permits and licenses, or a promoter of an extreme wrestling event who knowingly admits a person under the age of 18 years to an extreme wrestling event shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $5,000 for an offense.
