  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.

The Rural Health Care Stabilization Fund is created as a nonreverting special fund in the Office of State Budget and Management. The Fund shall operate as a revolving fund consisting of funds appropriated to, or otherwise received by, the Rural Health Care Stabilization Program and all funds received as repayment of the principal of or interest on a loan made from the Fund. The State Treasurer is the custodian of the Fund and shall invest its assets in accordance with N.C. Gen. Stat. § 147-69.2 and N.C. Gen. Stat. § 147-69.3 Moneys in the Fund shall only be used for loans made pursuant to this Article. (2019-240, s. 27.2.)
