Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 131E-191.1

  • Person: means an individual, trust, estate, partnership, or corporation including associations, joint-stock companies, and insurance companies. See North Carolina General Statutes 131E-1
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. No person registered as a lobbyist under Chapter 120C of the N.C. Gen. Stat. shall be appointed to or serve on the North Carolina State Health Coordinating Council. No person previously registered as a lobbyist under Chapter 120C of the N.C. Gen. Stat. shall be appointed to or serve on the North Carolina State Health Coordinating Council within 120 days after the expiration of the lobbyist’s registration.
