(A) On or after July 1, 2004, no internet- or computer-based community school shall enter into a contract with a nonpublic school to use or rent any facility space at the nonpublic school for the provision of instructional services to students enrolled in the internet- or computer-based community school.

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Internet- or computer-based community school: means a community school established under this chapter in which the enrolled students work primarily from their residences on assignments in nonclassroom-based learning opportunities provided via an internet- or other computer-based instructional method that does not rely on regular classroom instruction or via comprehensive instructional methods that include internet-based, other computer-based, and noncomputer-based learning opportunities unless a student receives career-technical education under section 3314. (B) If an internet- or computer-based community school has a contract with a nonpublic school as described in division (A) of this section, the department of education shall not make any payments under section 3317.022 of the Revised Code to the internet- or computer-based community school for any student who is enrolled in the internet- or computer-based community school and receives any instructional services from the internet- or computer-based community school at the nonpublic school.
