A majority of the members of the district school board shall constitute a quorum. A less number may meet and adjourn from time to time and compel the presence of absent members. - Adjourn: A motion to adjourn a legislative chamber or a committee, if passed, ends that day's session.
- District school board: means the board of directors of a common school district or a union high school district. See Oregon Statutes 332.002
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
