(1) Subject to ORS § 339.155, each district school board shall provide textbooks, prescribed or authorized by law, for free use by all resident public school pupils enrolled in kindergarten through grade 12.

(2) Subject to ORS § 339.155, each public charter school as defined in ORS § 338.005 shall provide textbooks, prescribed or authorized by law, for free use by all pupils enrolled in the public charter school.
