(a) “Division” means the division of professional regulation within the department of labor and training as established by § 28-22-1, in which all bureaus, boards, and commissions will serve and act in an advisory capacity to the director of labor and training in their area of expertise within the division of professional regulation. The division administers chapters 26 and 27 of this title and chapter 6 of Title 5.

- Department: means the department of labor and training. See Rhode Island General Laws 28-29-2
- Director: means the director of labor and training or his or her designee unless specifically stated otherwise. See Rhode Island General Laws 28-29-2
- person: may be construed to extend to and include co-partnerships and bodies corporate and politic. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-6
(b) “Chief administrator” means the person appointed by the director of labor and training under § 28-22-1 to act as his or her liaison with all bureaus, boards, and commissions encompassed by this chapter.
