Terms Used In Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code 17.061

  • Executor: A male person named in a will to carry out the decedent
  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.

In this subchapter:
(1) “Agent” includes a servant, employee, heir, legal representative, executor, administrator, or guardian.
(2) “Chairman” means the chairman of the Texas Transportation Commission.
(3) “Motor vehicle” includes a motorcycle.
