(a) The board shall adopt rules for the conduct of its business.
(b) For the purpose of performing its duties under § 801.202(1) or (2), the board by rule may require clarification of information provided by a public retirement system in a report that is required by law and is required to be filed with the board. A rule adopted under this subsection may not be enforced against a public retirement system if compliance with the rule would cause the system to incur a major expense.

(c) The board by rule shall:
(1) adopt a brief standard form that will assist the board in efficiently determining the actuarial soundness and current financial condition of a public retirement system; and
(2) require that a retirement system submitting information required for the review or study described under § 801.202(1) or (2) include the form with the submission.
