(a) The board shall hold at least one regular meeting each month for the purpose of transacting business of the transit department.
(b) The presiding officer may call a special meeting of the board.
Terms Used In Texas Transportation Code 453.054
- Month: means a calendar month. See Texas Government Code 312.011
- Presiding officer: A majority-party Senator who presides over the Senate and is charged with maintaining order and decorum, recognizing Members to speak, and interpreting the Senate's rules, practices and precedents.
