Terms Used In Utah Code 76-10-507
- Dangerous weapon: means :
(i) a firearm; or (ii) an object that in the manner of its use or intended use is capable of causing death or serious bodily injury. See Utah Code 76-10-501 - Offense: means a violation of any penal statute of this state. See Utah Code 76-1-101.5
- Person: means an individual, public or private corporation, government, partnership, or unincorporated association. See Utah Code 76-1-101.5
76-10-507. Possession of deadly weapon with criminal intent.
Every person having upon his person any dangerous weapon with intent to use it to commit a criminal offense is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.Amended by Chapter 406, 2015 General Session
