  • Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See
  • Testify: Answer questions in court.

§ 1607. Priests and ministers

A priest or minister of the gospel shall not be permitted to testify in court to statements made to him or her by a person under the sanctity of a religious confessional.
