The board shall hold at least one regular meeting each year. Special meetings may be held as the bylaws of the board provide. Each year the board shall elect the following officers: A president, a vice president and a secretary, who shall serve at the will and pleasure of the board. A quorum of the board shall consist of not less than three professional engineer members.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 30-13-8
- Board: means the West Virginia state board of registration for professional engineers as provided for in this article. See West Virginia Code 30-13-3
- Engineer: means a person who is qualified to practice engineering by reason of special knowledge and use of the mathematical, physical and engineering sciences and the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design, acquired by engineering education and engineering experience. - Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
