Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 121.17

  • Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
  • State: when applied to states of the United States, includes the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the several territories organized by Congress. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01

It is the intent of the legislature that school districts receiving federal revenue sharing funds through the state under this subchapter shall utilize these funds in compliance with the federal revenue sharing requirements as defined in the state and local fiscal assistance act of 1972 (P.L. Public Law 92-512″>92-512), as amended by P.L. 94-488. The department shall assure compliance with this section.
