Wisconsin Statutes 943.392 – Fraudulent data alteration

Under the Wisconsin Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
Class A misdemeanor	up to 9 months	up to $10,000

Whoever, with intent to injure or defraud, manipulates or changes any data, as defined in s. 943.70 (1) (f), is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
