Terms Used In Missouri Laws 379.205

  • hereafter: means the time after the statute containing it takes effect. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

A number of persons, not less than twenty-five, a majority of whom shall be bona fide residents of this state, by complying with the provisions of sections 379.205 to 379.310, may become together with others who may hereafter be associated with them or their successors, a body corporate for the purpose of carrying on the business of mutual insurance as herein provided.
