The school board or board of education of each school district shall adopt and publish an official policy respecting personnel files and student records, which policy shall not conflict in any manner with the rules and regulations of the State Records Administrator adopted pursuant to the Records Management Act.

- Administrator: means any certified employee such as superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal, assistant principal, school nurse, or other supervisory or administrative personnel who do not have as a primary duty the instruction of pupils in the public schools. - School: means a school under the jurisdiction of a school board authorized by Chapter 79. See Nebraska Statutes 79-101
