- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In addition to the powers otherwise provided by this chapter, the district may exercise any power granted to a county or a public hospital by Sections 61.035, 61.057, 61.058, and 61.059, Health and Safety Code, as those sections existed on September 30, 2009, including the power to require a person to comply with a corresponding duty.
