Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 1091.303
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
The ballot for an election under this subchapter must be printed to permit voting for or against the proposition: “The dissolution of the Rice Hospital District and the sale or transfer of its assets and liabilities in the following manner: ____________ (insert provisions for transfer).”
