Alaska Statutes 18.20.550 – Coordination with other authority

Alaska Stat. § 18.20.500-18.20.590 may not be interpreted to interfere with the powers or duties of

(1) an agent operating under a valid advance health care directive under Alaska Stat. Chapter 13.52; or

Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.

(2) a legal guardian of the patient.
