The name of an acupuncture corporation and any name or names under which it may render professional services shall contain words “acupuncture” or “acupuncturist” and wording or abbreviations denoting corporate existence.

  • Acupuncture: means the stimulation of a certain point or points on or near the surface of the body by the insertion of needles to prevent or modify the perception of pain or to normalize physiological functions, including pain control for the treatment of certain diseases or dysfunctions of the body, and includes the techniques of electroacupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion.   • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
