(a) The legislative body may, by resolution, provide for the issuance of bonds pursuant to this article.

(b) The resolution shall state that the bonds are being issued pursuant to this article.

  • Bonds: means bonds, notes, warrants, or other evidence of indebtedness payable, both principal and interest, from the proceeds of ad valorem taxes that may be levied without limitation as to rate or amount upon property subject to taxation by the legislative body.   • State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Government Code 18
