Notwithstanding any provision of law, the governing board, or a committee of the governing board, of a public bank, as defined in § 57600 of the Government Code, may meet in closed session to consider and take action on matters pertaining to all of the following:

(a) A loan or investment decision.

  • meeting: means any congregation of a majority of the members of a legislative body at the same time and location, including teleconference location as permitted by Section 54953, to hear, discuss, deliberate, or take action on any item that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the legislative body. See California Government Code 54952.2
  • State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Government Code 18

(b) A decision of the internal audit committee, the compliance committee, or the governance committee.

(c) A meeting with a state or federal regulator.
