(a) No person shall engage in any activity within a highway roadside rest area or vista point prohibited by rules and regulations adopted pursuant to § 225 of the Streets and Highways Code.
(b) A violation of this section is an infraction. A second or subsequent conviction of a violation of this section is a misdemeanor.

- Highway: is a way or place of whatever nature, publicly maintained and open to the use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel. See California Vehicle Code 360
