Not later than January 1, 2022, the Social Emotional Learning and School Climate Advisory Collaborative, established pursuant to § 10-222q, shall convene a working group to (1) review sections 10-222d to 10-222p, inclusive, relating to bullying and safe school climate plans, (2) make recommendations concerning (A) amendments to said sections 10-222d to 10-222p, inclusive, (B) the inclusion of restorative practices in safe school climate plans, and (C) state-wide adoption of the National School Climate Standards, and (3) provide technical assistance and support to local and regional boards of education in adopting and implementing the Connecticut Model School Climate Policy, policy number 5131.914. The Social Emotional Learning and School Climate Advisory Collaborative may consult with or include representatives from the national Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning as members of the working group in implementing the provisions of this section.
