  • person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01

(1) The enterprise, alone or as part of a joint development, may undertake associated developments to be a source of revenue for the establishment, construction, operation, or maintenance of the high-speed rail system. Such associated developments must be consistent, to the extent feasible, with applicable local government comprehensive plans and local land development regulations and otherwise be in compliance with ss. 341.8201341.842.
(2) Sections 341.8201341.842 do not prohibit the enterprise, the selected person or entity, or a party to a joint venture with the enterprise or its selected person or entity from obtaining approval, pursuant to any other law, for any associated development that is reasonably related to the high-speed rail system.
