Hawaii Revised Statutes 658G-13 – Standards of professional responsibility and mandatory reporting not affected

This chapter does not affect:

(1) The professional responsibility obligations and standards applicable to a lawyer or other licensed professional; or

Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
Person: means an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, limited liability company, association, joint venture, public corporation, government or governmental subdivision, agency, or instrumentality, or any other legal or commercial entity. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 658G-2

(2) The obligation of a person to report abuse or neglect, abandonment, or exploitation of a child or adult under the law of this State.
