Terms Used In Indiana Code 20-23-12-2

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
   Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, “school corporation” means a school corporation that was designated as a distressed political subdivision in 2017 under IC 6-1.1-20.3-6.8(d).
