Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

Sec. 1. This chapter applies to a school corporation, including a school city (as defined in IC 20-25-2-12) and a charter school.
