Terms Used In Indiana Code 20-41-2-6

  • Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
   Sec. 6. If a school lunch fund is established under section 4 of this chapter and the school corporation‘s education fund is used under section 5 of this chapter, the receipts and expenditures from a fund for the program to which the fund relates shall be made to and from the appropriate fund without appropriation or the application of other statutes and rules relating to the budgets of municipal corporations.
