Indiana Code 24-4.9-2-9. “Person”

Terms Used In Indiana Code 24-4.9-2-9

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
   Sec. 9. “Person” means an individual, a corporation, a business trust, an estate, a trust, a partnership, an association, a nonprofit corporation or organization, a cooperative, or any other legal entity.

  • shared vehicle: means a vehicle that a shared vehicle owner has made available for P2P vehicle sharing with a shared vehicle driver through a P2P vehicle sharing program. See Indiana Code 24-4-9.2-6

   Sec. 9. As used in this chapter, “start time” means the time, as identified in the shared vehicle agreement, when the shared vehicle driver is authorized to use a shared vehicle.
