Terms Used In Michigan Laws 289.2115

  • Director: means the director of the department or his or her designee. See Michigan Laws 289.1107
  • Food: means articles used for food or drink for humans or other animals, chewing gum, and articles used for components of any such article. See Michigan Laws 289.1107
   If the director has reasonable cause to suspect disease transmission by an employee of a food establishment, he or she may secure a morbidity history of the suspected employee and make other investigations as he or she considers necessary.
