  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • hereafter: means the time after the statute containing it takes effect. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The district and subdistricts and the officers and employees thereof shall be subject to the provisions of chapter 296 or any amendment thereto hereafter enacted.
