2. All references in this chapter regarding a “verified” document shall be satisfied by compliance with the requirements of subsection 1 of this section.

Terms Used In Missouri Laws 452.025

  • Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
  • Pleadings: Written statements of the parties in a civil case of their positions. In the federal courts, the principal pleadings are the complaint and the answer.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
