All expenses incurred in carrying out the Nebraska Elementary and Secondary School Finance Authority Act shall be payable solely from funds provided under the act, and no liability or obligation shall be incurred by the authority beyond the extent to which money has been provided under the act.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 79-1835

  • Authority: means the Nebraska Elementary and Secondary School Finance Authority created by the Nebraska Elementary and Secondary School Finance Authority Act or any board, body, commission, department, or office succeeding to the principal functions thereof or to whom the powers conferred upon such authority by the act are given by law.   • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • School: means a school under the jurisdiction of a school board authorized by Chapter 79. See Nebraska Statutes 79-101
