Pursuant to paragraph I of article III of the compact for education, the education commission of the states shall file a copy of its bylaws and any amendment to its bylaws with the secretary of state.
Terms Used In North Dakota Code 15.1-04-02
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See North Dakota Code 1-01-49
