Upon the entry of the order of the court approving the report of the board of appraisers of a sanitary district, the clerk of said court in which the same is entered shall transmit a certified copy of the decree, and of the appraisals as confirmed by the court, except those parts from which appeals have been perfected but not determined, to the secretary of the sanitary district.

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

When any appeal has been finally determined, the clerk of that court shall certify the amount of each item of the judgment to the clerk of the court having the original case, who shall file the same therein and thereupon transmit certified copies of the same as provided in this section.
