- City: includes any incorporated village or town. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Department: means the Department of Education. See Oregon Statutes 329.007
- Devise: To gift property by will.
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
- Impact aid revenues: means the revenues received by a school district from the federal government pursuant to 20 U. See Oregon Statutes 328.001
