Terms Used In Texas Agriculture Code 12.022
- Department: means the Department of Agriculture. See Texas Agriculture Code 1.003
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The department may solicit and accept gifts, grants, and donations of money, services, or property from any person. Money received by the department under this section may be expended or distributed for any public purpose related to the department’s duties.
