Terms Used In Texas Health and Safety Code 242.606
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person may not administer medication to a resident unless the person:
(1) holds a license under state law that authorizes the person to administer medication; or
(2) holds a permit issued under § 242.610 and acts under the authority of a person who holds a license under state law that authorizes the person to administer medication.
