(a) In addition to the penalty imposed under § 213.023, an employing unit shall pay a penalty of $30 for each consecutive day that a violation of this subtitle or of a rule adopted under this subtitle continues after notice is given as provided by Subsection (b).
(b) The penalty is imposed and becomes cumulative on the 10th day after the date written notice is given or mailed to the employing unit by the commission or its authorized representative.
